My name is Daniel Hodgson and I am an addict. I am addicted to building beautiful websites and I want to build one for you. I build websites using either WordPress or Wix and can help you decide which is the better route for you if you are unsure. I provide four services:
Service 1 – Build a subdomain Don’t want a full website? No problem. Let me build you a subdomain using Wix. All you have to do is sign up for a Wix account and then pass along the login details to me, then just sit back and relax while I create your subdomain for you. Remember a subdomain is a lot smaller than your own website and comes with third party branding. But hey, maybe its right for you, in which case it’s right for me. Service 2 – build a full website I will build you an absolutely stellar website using either WordPress or Wix, whichever you prefer. If you have no preference, no problem, I can make those nerdy decisions for you. I will walk you through how to purchase your web hosting, select a domain and install WordPress or sign up for Wix. I can give you my preferences and show you the most cost effective route to take. Once ready for the build all you need to do is pass over your login info to me. Service 3 – Build A Full Website + Provide Hosting I will build you a beautiful website and handle the hosting for you. No passwords or work on your end at all, just sit back and relax while I create the perfect site for you. You pay $200 one time for the website build and then $40 annually for hosting. There will also be a domain charge with an annual fee. After the site is complete, any future changes you would like me to make would fall under service 4.
Service 4 – Site Updates I can update your website content for you… for a small fee. Fear not as I work fast. Why the heck are my prices so cheap? What kind of quality can you get with such a low fee?
You will get a phenomenal website with me. The reason my fees are so low is that I am just entering the freelance world and refuse to charge the industry standard until I’ve had more clients. For now, I am paying my dues which allows you to save!
If you decide to have me create a website for you with WordPress you will need to purchase hosting and assign a domain, which again I can talk you through.
There are many hosting providers out there but I use and recommend Bluehost.
I’m a big fan of Bluehost as their help team is there for you with lightning speed and their rates are affordable. I am a Bluehost affiliate and collect a referral payment from Bluehost whenever someone uses my affiliate link. There is no additional cost to you and doesn’t affect your price.
I am also a Wix affiliate and collect a referral payment when you upgrade to a premium Wix plan. Again there is no additional cost to you, but it helps me out tremendously and I highly appreciate you using my links.
What kind of websites do I build? I build websites for bands/ musicians, artists, photographers, authors, cartoonists and illustrators. I also build websites for small businesses.
